Today, we are taking a quick detour into the functionality of the Recompact 3.0 System. In this video, we install the Recompact Unit and change the roving path to another channel by switching the wings on the unit. Two people can maintain 1000 spindles in just under 1 hour – which is incredibly fast.

Step-by-Step

First, we need to go through the instruction process. Step by step, the process is going to look like this:

1. Switch color of traversing settings box
2. Reduce the speed of machine
3. Remove the old Wings in 24 spindle intervalls
4. Install the new Wings in 24 spindle intervalls
5. Return to regular speed

As seen in the video, the system is very effective & simple to implement and maintain. It allows outstanding yarn qualities and is the first to provide a 3-Channel-Technology. This makes it possible to use an extensive 18mm of the cots width and increasing the lifecycle of the cots significantly over any other product. Customers also benefit from no downtime, as the roving in the channel can be switched to another channel by changing the wings – while the machine is running.
